In our sermon series, Toxic Truisms, we are discussing simple, often repeated lies touted as biblical and well-intentioned but are really harmful and lead us astray. This week, we’ll be looking at the notion that "God helps those who help themselves.” Our Scripture reading will be from 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 and Matthew 25:31-46.
