Youth Group — Sundays
Our Youth Group is a fun and safe space for junior and senior high youth in grades 7-12 to come together, learn about God, and explore their faith. Here, they will be supported and loved, and able to feel confident in who they are as God created them to be. They meet after worship every Sunday from 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Feel free to reach out to our Youth Director, Matt Caras, with questions.
If it’s your child’s first time visiting, please be sure to fill out a permission form when you arrive. See our note on health and safety below.
Health & Safety
It is important to us that everyone is safe and well cared for—physically and spiritually. All our youth leaders are background-checked and trained in our Safe Sanctuaries policies. Take a moment to review our permission forms below. We will have paper copies available, or you can fill them out beforehand and bring them with you on your first visit.
Confirmation
This is an intentional program aimed to help youth in grades eight and above to explore their faith in-depth through activities and field trips. It is only offered at certain times. We will share updates here when that program is being held.
Sunday Worship
Youth and teens are always welcome to join us for worship in the sanctuary. Or, if they like, they can attend our F3: Faith, Fun, & Focus class during our first service (Traditional) on Sundays—that service starts at 9 a.m. Click here to learn more about F3.
Our second worship service (Contemporary) starts at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays and is designed to be a more casual service, so only childcare for infants to age 5 is offered during that time.
PUMC is affirming!
The Hangout
This is a drop-in space for LGBTQ+ youth and allies in grades 7-12. It’s held on the first Monday of every month from 4-6:30 pm here at PUMC. Learn more here.
