Youth Group

Youth Group — First & Third SundayS

Our Youth Group is a fun and safe space for junior and senior high youth in grades 7-12 to come together, learn about God, and explore their faith. Here, they will be supported and loved, and able to feel confident in who they are as God created them to be. They meet after worship on the First and Third Sundays of every month from 12:00-1:00 p.m. See our church calendar for details.

Feel free to reach out with questions.

Health & Safety

It is important to us that everyone is safe and well cared for—physically and spiritually. All our youth leaders are background-checked and trained in our Safe Sanctuaries policies. Take a moment to review our permission forms below. We will have paper copies available, or you can fill them out beforehand and bring them with you on your first visit.

Confirmation

This is an intentional program aimed to help youth in grades eight and above to explore their faith in-depth through activities and field trips. It is only offered at certain times. We will share updates here when that program is being held.

Sunday Worship

Youth and teens are always welcome to join us for worship in the sanctuary. Or they can attend our F3: Faith, Fun, & Focus class for children and youth ages 5 and up. Click here to learn more about F3.

PUMC is fully affirming!

Puyallup Valley Youth Collective

This fall of 2026, our church will be a part of the launch of a special new multi-denominational youth ministry for teenagers here in the South Sound!

The Puyallup Valley Youth Collective will be a collaborative joint-youth group ministry to offer a safe, affirming community where youth in our area can explore their faith together, build new friendships, and discover diverse ways of being part of the Christian community.

Multiple churches from different faith backgrounds, including Peace Lutheran Puyallup, First Christian Church of Puyallup, and Sumner UMC have all signed onto this project together with us.

Look for more info to come soon! The first get-together will be held on Wednesday, September 9, from 6-8 p.m. here at Puyallup UMC.
