Dia De Los Muertos at the Tacoma Art Museum

  • Puyallup United Methodist Church 1919 West Pioneer Avenue Puyallup, WA 98371 United States (map)

All Saints’ Day is a historic Christian holiday observed annually on November 1st. On this day, we remember those who have lived and passed on from this life before us.

This year, you’re invited to join us for a special group outing and multicultural learning opportunity at the Tacoma Art Museum for their annual Día de Los Muertos festival—or Day of the Dead—celebration!

There will be live music, traditional dance performances, cultural education, and hands-on art-making workshops for all ages.

This is a free event with donations going to the Mi Centro non-profit for local Latino and Indigenous communities. The event runs from 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday, November 1. Pre-registration is required, and tickets are timed, so be sure to select the 2:30 PM time slot to join our group.

Carpooling from the church is available. Our group will be led by our Art Words & Yoga Instructor, Karrie Zylstra Myton. Email her with questions or to coordinate carpooling.
