Christmas Eve Services

Join us this Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24th, as we retell the story of God’s love unfolding through Christ’s birth—remembering that God’s work also continues to unfold through us. Our Christmas Eve Services that day are:
Traditional Worship at 4:00 PM
Contemporary Worship at 7:00 PM
We’ll hear scripture readings, sing Christmas songs, and listen to a special message before ending with a candlelit rendition of “Silent Night” together. Our Traditional Worship Service will be led by our choir with accompanists on the organ and piano. The Contemporary Worship Service will be led by our worship team vocalists and instrumentalists on the keyboard, electric guitar, and drums.
There will be activity packets available for anyone who wants one, and childcare for children ages 5 and under will be available in our Nursery. Both services can be attended via our livestream, with recordings available for later viewing on our Previous Services page. As always, reach out with any questions. Our church is accessible and inclusive, but not pushy or perfect—because nobody is, right? A Place to Be: Christmas Eve Potluck at 12:00 PM
A Place to Be is a Christmas Eve potluck lunch for anyone wanting a place to be this Christmas! No questions asked. Come as you are. BE yourself. This is a safe, sober, & inclusive event where all are welcome! It starts at 12 o’clock noon here at Puyallup UMC. Since it’s potluck style, feel free to bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share.
