Art Words & Yoga: Field trip to the Pt. Defiance Japanese Garden in Tacoma
Join us for a field trip! As part of our Art Words and Yoga group’s new series on connection, we’ll be offering an excursion to the Pt. Defiance Japanese Garden in Tacoma to spend some time in nature and explore the relationship between Tacoma and its sister city Kitakyushu, Japan!
Happening on Saturday, July 25, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. This is open to all!
We will spend time exploring the garden and doing some gentle, accessible yoga movements:
• Breathing and relaxation practices
• A welcoming, inclusive environment
• Options for beginners and all abilities
Meet at the church at 10 AM to vanpool, or meet us at 10:30 AM at the Park: 5400 N Pearl Street, Tacoma, WA 98407.
*Bring a sack lunch

This runs from July 11 through August 22, with weekly sessions on Saturdays from 10-11:30 AM at Puyallup UMC on 1919 West Pioneer Ave.
Classes are a suggested donation of $15, but pay what you are able.
