Puyallup UMC is excited to host VBX Kids again this summer!
VBX is an inclusive summer day camp program for kids ages 4-12. It runs from 9 am to noon, Monday through Friday, August 11th-15th.
Registration is open and FREE for all families!
Our theme for the year will be “Who Do You Say I Am? Investigating the Mystery of Jesus.”
Inspired by Jesus's profound "I Am" statements in the Gospel of John, children will become detectives on daily missions to uncover the mysteries of these statements.
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Through engaging STREAM (Science, Technology, wRiting, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities, mission projects, and movement, children will gather clues and decipher the meanings behind Jesus's words. Our main gathering space, the Agency Headquarters, will serve as the hub for daily activities and discussions. Children will collect their "evidence" and contribute to solving a puzzle based on the day's Bible verse, fostering deeper understanding through group reflections.
We hope you’ll join us for a week filled with discovery, teamwork, and faith-building as we explore the profound question, "Who Do You Say I Am?" Don't miss this opportunity for your child to engage in meaningful exploration and fun!

VBX is free! Click the registration button above to begin the sign-up process for your child/children.
Parents and siblings are welcome to join us for a special VBX Celebration Carnival at the end of the week on Saturday, August 16, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm—registration not required.
Every child’s safety is our number one priority. All of our volunteers have passed a background check and undergone specialized training that follows our Safe Sanctuary policies.
