Puyallup UMC is excited to be holding VBX kids again this summer!

Our inclusive summer camp program is for all kids ages 4-12. It runs from 9 am to noon, Monday through Friday, August 11th-15th.

Our theme for the year will be “Who Do You Say I Am? Investigating the Mystery of Jesus.”

Inspired by Jesus's profound "I Am" statements in the Gospel of John, children will become detectives on daily missions to uncover the mysteries of these statements. Through engaging STREAM activities (Science, Technology, wRiting, Engineering, Art, and Math), mission projects, and movement, they'll gather clues and decipher the meanings behind Jesus's words.

Throughout the program, our main gathering space, the Agency Headquarters, serves as the hub for daily activities and discussions. Children will collect their "evidence" and contribute to solving a puzzle based on the day's Bible verse, fostering deeper understanding through group reflections.

Join us for a week filled with discovery, teamwork, and faith-building as we explore the profound question, "Who Do You Say I Am?" Don't miss this opportunity for your child to engage in meaningful exploration and fun!  

When the week is over, children and their families are invited to join us for our VBX Celebration Carnival on Saturday, August 16, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.
