Every year, the Pierce County Emergency Food Network holds a “Hunger Walk” to fight hunger in our community, and Puyallup UMC has participated in this for many years.
You too can support our Puyallup UMC Hunger Walk Team and take steps to help our neighbors in need.
Join the team by registering for the walk here, happening on Saturday, May 2, at Fort Steilacoom Park. Or you can cheer them on virtually by making a donation here—select Puyallup United Methodist Church under “team fundraisers.”
Early registration ends on February 23rd, and adult entry fees increase from $20 to $25.
All fundraising proceeds go to the Pierce County Emergency Food Network, our area’s largest food distributor.
The walk starts at 8 am, but we recommend getting there early to enjoy the live music, vendor booths, and a high-five from Rhubarb of the Tacoma Rainiers!
