Art Words & Yoga: Field trip to the Niqually wildlife refuge & nature preserve
Join us for a field trip! To launch the new A.W.A.Y. series exploring resilience, healing, and growth in nature, we will be going on a group excursion to the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually Wildlife Refuge & Nature Preserve, located 30 minutes away on the Nisqually River delta of the Puget Sound.
This is happening on Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, and is open to all!
We will spend time exploring the preserve and doing some gentle, accessible yoga movements:
• Breathing and relaxation practices
• A welcoming, inclusive environment
• Options for beginners and all abilities
Meet at the church at 10 AM to vanpool, or meet us at 10:30 AM at the Refuge: 100 Brown Farm Rd NE, Olympia, WA 98516.
