"The Snowman" Free Family Concert

  • Puyallup United Methodist Church 1919 West Pioneer Avenue Puyallup, WA 98371 United States (map)

A holiday tradition for the whole family! The Northwest Sinfonietta offers an experience filled with winter wonder here at Puyallup UMC.

Based on Raymond Briggs’ beloved picture book and the Oscar-nominated animated film, The Snowman tells the enchanting story of a young boy who builds a snowman that magically comes to life on Christmas Eve. Together, they embark on a wondrous adventure—soaring through the night sky, meeting Father Christmas, and discovering the true spirit of friendship and wonder.

Featuring Howard Blake’s timeless score, including the hauntingly beautiful song “Walking in the Air,” this family favorite comes vividly to life in a live orchestral performance with film and narrator.

This concert is made possible with support from Keybank, Tacoma Creates, Puyallup Kiwanis Foundation, Baker Foundation and generous donors, and presented in partnership with Blue Mouse Theater, Greentrike and Puyallup United Methodist Church.

Tickets are FREE, but seating is limited and registration is required. Donations to the Sinfonietta will be gratefully accepted at the event. Come early to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, winter crafts, and more.
