All are welcome here at Puyallup UMC for a special service of hope and healing this December. The Longest Night is a longstanding tradition held around the Winter Solstice; sometimes called a “Blue Advent” or “Blue Christmas” service.
This service is a space for those who are experiencing pain, grief, or loss of any kind to gather in quiet prayer and reflection. It is not solely for those who are grieving, but it does offer a contrast for those who find the more celebratory expression of the holidays challenging. If you find yourself in need of peace or comfort, come find an opportunity to reconnect to faith and hope.
Join us for The Longest Night service at Puyallup United Methodist Church on Wednesday, December 17, at 7 p.m. We’re located at 1919 W Pioneer in downtown Puyallup. We are an inclusive and affirming congregation, and all are welcome here.
